Customer Requirements

  • Existing Lightpath customer within the LP voice service footprint
  • Microsoft 365 license (including Teams application)
  • Microsoft Phone System license (included in M365 E5; add-on for E1/E3
  • Teams tenant admin capability with PowerShell skills or use a 3rd-party service (TeamMate, Call2Teams, iPilot by Nuwave)
  • Global Administrator access in your Microsoft 365 Admin Center

Service Limitations
  • The Teams Line does not support SMS, FAX, or traditional SIP desk phones
  • Teams Direct Routing lines exist in the Microsoft Cloud PBX and cannot share call control with on-premises EV/BHV environments
  • Customers are responsible for Microsoft Teams tenant administration, including PowerShell configuration (or may use a third-party service such as TeamMate, Call2Teams, or iPilot by Nuwave)
