Fall '24 Miami Expansion
Lightpath is continuing to aggressively expand in the Miami region and by the end of 2024 will have brought an additional 8 new data centers on-net, for a total of 12 in the region. Lightpath will also offer RapidPath dark fiber service between Miami area data centers. Additionally, Lightpath will be building 15 new route miles of network to the north of downtown.
Miami Market Entrance
November 2, 2022 - Lightpath announced its entrance into the Miami connectivity market with a 135-mile, all-fiber network throughout the region. Lightpath's initial phase network of 55 route miles will be entirely subterranean, and will customer ready in January 2023.
Princeton, NJ
September 14, 2022 - Lightpath announced the completion of its 54-mile Princeton expansion.
Connecticut Expansion
September 7, 2022 - Lightpath announced the expansion of its next-generation network throughout western Connecticut. The new 70+ mile network build will consist of high-count fiber connecting Trumbull and Norwalk, CT, to Katonah, NY, as well as points in between.
Ashburn, VA - New York Metro Diverse Route
April 5, 2022 - Lightpath adds a 300-mile geographically diverse route between Ashburn, VA and New York Metro, offering customers distinct paths between these critical technology hubs.
Boston West Expansion
March 17, 2022 - Lightpath Adds 75 new route miles of all-fiber network to the west of Boston through Needham, Framingham, Westborough, and Marlborough.
Boston Area Expansion
November 9, 2021 - Lightpath announced a major expansion to its fiber network in the Boston region, adding over 50 route miles throughout the region.

October 26, 2021 - Lightpath announced its entrance into the Princeton, NJ connectivity market with a 54 route mile network build throughout the area.
Queens, NY
June 30, 2021 - Lightpath announced its entrance into the Queens, NY connectivity market with a network expansion of over 100 route miles over two phases.
Boston, MA
June 16, 2021 - Lightpath announced its entrance into the Boston connectivity market by way of multiple acquisitions and an initial, regional network of over 80 route miles and over 100 service locations.
