Lightpath ESG
Lightpath builds environmental, social and governance principles into operating practice and complies with the legal and regulatory requirements that apply to the business. Those principles carry through to customers, partners, shareholders, employees and the communities where the network runs.
Lightpath gives every team member 8 hours of paid leave each year for volunteer work.
GRESB Score
GRESB awarded Lightpath two designations on the 2025 GRESB Infrastructure Asset Benchmark Report: Infrastructure Asset Super Class Leader and Sector Leader in Data Infrastructure. Sector Leader recognizes entities scoring at the top of their sector or within one point of it.
Lightpath scored 100 and received a 5-Star Rating. GRESB awards that rating to the top 20% of participating entities.

Sustainability
Sustainability factors into how Lightpath plans network builds, sources equipment and manages facilities. Decisions account for the effect on the communities where the network runs and on the resources the business consumes. Lightpath continues to look for ways to reduce that impact.
Net-Zero Commitment
Lightpath has set a net-zero target of 2050 and invests in network infrastructure built to reduce energy intensity. Carbon accounting methodology and interim targets are in development.
