- We own, build and operate more than 12,100 route miles across 11 metro markets, with our deepest interconnect density across the New York metropolitan area, New Jersey, Long Island, Southern Connecticut, Boston, Eastern Pennsylvania, Ashburn and Miami. We are on-net in 190+ data centers and 17,500+ service locations, including the major interconnect hubs your traffic already passes through, among them 60 Hudson Street and 111 Eighth Avenue in New York, 165 Halsey Street in Newark and 350 Cermak in Chicago. The footprint is expanding into Columbus, Phoenix and Atlanta. Where a facility sits beyond our on-net routes, we deliver over Type 2 and coordinate the carrier so you keep one point of contact. Capacity at the right layer, with room to grow: We hand off dedicated wavelengths up to 400 Gbps at the client interface, on a network engineered for 800 Gbps and beyond on the line side. Per fiber pair and conduit the ceiling climbs past that, so you add capacity on the routes you already run instead of re-architecting. Eight subsea cable landing stations extend interconnect beyond the metro.

Private Paths to Major Cloud Providers
On the cloud and exchange side, Cloud Connect delivers private paths to AWS Direct Connect, Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute (including US Gov’t ExpressRoute), Google Cloud Interconnect, Oracle FastConnect and Equinix Fabric.
You get one Lightpath contract and one escalation path for the segment we deliver. Where we are present in the interconnect facility, we own the fiber into the on-ramp, so the segment you hand us has a single owner.
On the facility side, we are present in Equinix, Digital Realty and Markley Group across Boston, Ashburn, Chicago, Miami and Secaucus.
